This album started with a simple concept: a series of tracks centered around common instrumentation. Bells were the centerpiece for all of these songs; they differ drastically, however, in style and tone.
With all of the diversity, this is one of the most coherent releases I've ever done.
Over the course of civilized human history, bells have been used in rituals and to mark the passage of time. Likewise, electronic music is somewhat inherently ritualistic, and the simple fact that this release exists is its own mark in time.
Like on the album, bells can come in different shapes, sizes, and tones. Things can resonate even if it's not immediately obvious.
